So Halloween was a lot of fun.

I repeat: a lot of fun.

One of the more interesting moments was when Miles went to answer the door with me, and a bit foggy on the details, screamed at one of our little friends on the porch: "Trick or treat! Give me back that candy!"

O mostly thought that the candy was just for carrying around. We switched most of her stuff out for little toys and glow sticks and made a big deal out of a special treat: a Dum Dum.

Great Photos. Halloween is the very best holiday in the world. It gets people out of their house, moving around, opening the door for neighbors. I'm so glad that O shares a fondness for this great tradition. Of course, she looks fantastic. Did she participate in choosing that scary spider get up? She's a tough cookie. I like this kid more and more all the time.

Marc looks great of course. I can only assume that behind the camera you are dressed as little Miss Muffett.

courtney - you would love h'ween in our neighborhood. trick-or-treating is definitely alive and well around these parts.

shannon - marc was STOKED to be wearing that get-up. it's his. it belongs to him. and as usual, I went as the Grinch Who Stole Halloween, aka myself.

I was wondering how you would do Halloween with O's diabetes. You're getting super-dooper creative everyday! It was great running into you guys! Marc is such a champ!!

Usually spiders give me the creeps.

But, not yours. She is, by far, the cutest spider I have ever seen.

katiek - good to see you, too. still can't get over how cute josiah and eden looked. loved her magic wand!

bernard - you've outed me! yes, I'm giving NaBloPoMo another shot. I kinda faded out at the end last year.

penny - she would have you know that she was, indeed, a "scary sider."

julia - thanks. the pooh costume is just laying around the living room now; O doesn't want me to put it away.
